Tattoo Part II

I had another Shoot with Alex, Owner of Planet Ink Tattoos. It was one of those regular Georgia days, meaning the weather report said it would be sunny but it ended up being an off and on rainy day, this shoot happened in about 12 minutes 15 minutes max, before the clouds opened up. I was shooting with my Canon 5D mark II with the 24-105mm lens, shooting at a focal length of 70mm.

Here is what came of it...

Around Atl

This was from a two day shoot, on different locations around Atlanta. Edited the pics the night of the last shoot, I think I am getting pretty good at it plus my pen-pad makes what used to take and hour take 15 minutes.

Here is what came of it. I had a great team for this shoot, def one for the books!

Like a G6

Shooting at the airport, I had asked a few owners of small planes of I could use there planes. At the airport it was great, the planes were great! Then one of the workers there said he could get me in to shoot with G6's and Cessna's. By stroke of luck the guy was good to his word and before i knew it, I was meeting Ludacris's uncle and shooting on his plane, then I met one of the manager's for a larger hanger which was next to Tyler Perry's personal hanger. It was all a dream! but real here are the results.

Motel Fun

This shoot was fun! apart from my elinchrom ranger's and rx600's sometimes not firing it went over went without a hitch.
My models were great and shoot went relatively fast.

For the second scene of this shoot I put the model in a bunny head and used my speedlite 430ex II of camera for the desired affect.

Ring Flash

Shot these images with an Elinchrom ranger with the ring flash. We started shooting around 9am and were finished close to noon.

Tattoo

So had the opportunity to shoot a Tattoo artist in my area. I have always wanted a tattoo but for the life of me i can never figure out what I want a tattoo of, not my b-day, or sign, I change too much, a well... but here are the pics from tattoo shoot, I used the backlight to light them as well since I had to go to their tattoo shop to shoot them because of time.

Backlight Beauty shots

Its been a while but, its time to play catch-up....

Shot some beauty shots with a two light set up with tons of white cards, the front to light the models I used profoto 2400 with an umbrella, and the background is a highlighted lasolite with a bear profoto head in side... here are the results
